ROY™ is a dual-channel tube preamp and overdrive inspired by the vintage Top Boost amp—the “Voice” behind many classic records from the British Invasion era.
ROY™ delivers those sweet, ringing clean tones and the "shattered" upper-mid breakup without sounding harsh or brittle.
It features two identical channels, each with separate gain and volume controls. This design allows you to switch from clean to overdrive with the press of a footswitch while maintaining control over the volume level. It's like having two separate preamps dialled in for clean and overdrive tones.
ROY™ includes a classic dual-band tone stack. This unique EQ features highly interactive Treble and Bass controls that inversely affect the mids. Both channels share the EQ section.
Another notable feature of this circuit is the Tone Cut control: a master treble roll-off after the EQ. You can shape your tone using the EQ and then adjust the Tone Cut to reduce harshness in the top end while keeping your core sound.
ROY™ combines a high-voltage transistor in the first gain stage with a 12AX7 tube operating at 260V. This setup delivers natural tube compression and a “spongy” amp-like response.
ROY™ works well with other pedals and can serve as a clean tube platform at the end of your signal chain. It’s a simple and effective way to add a vintage British voice to any amp or direct rig setup.
ROY™ offers external channel switching and the option to turn the pedal on/off via a 3.5mm jack. Like all our preamps, it includes a wall-mount power supply and a plug specific to your country.

It's like my old Eden WT800 and Ampeg SVT heads got together, had a bastard love-child that won the genetic lottery, then blasted that child with some sort of mad scientist shrink ray! So small it fits in my accessories bag - I don't even need to get a separate bag/rack for it - and my ageing joints love that it's barely 2 kg. Bought the Quilter Superblock US as an easy to carry alternative to the 50w valve head I usually take to gigs and jams. Matched with a 1x12 cabinet it sounds great, big sound for such a small package. Very happy with this amp.
Good solid tuner that’s seems to be well built, keeps tune well, buffer works great or alternatively has a button to disengage buffer for true bypass, great alternative to the usual tuner pedals on the market..
